It's time for community dentists to get the respect, recognition and reward they deserve.

ADAVB is proud to announce a ground-breaking alliance with Professionals Australia which will support public dentists in obtaining the fair working conditions they deserve.

ADAVB has funded industrial representation of public dentists for over 10 years. Most recently we funded representation in the EBA negotiations which resulted in public hospital dentists gaining improvements to their working conditions.

However we were disappointed when community dentists were advised that their employers had not agreed to them receiving the same terms as their colleagues in the hospital sector.  This is unfair and needs to be rectified.

Letting our community dentists down lets our community down. 

The ADAVB has stepped in with the expertise and track record of Professionals Australia so that we can secure the professional future of public dentists. The Professionals Australia team brings extensive campaign, legal and negotiating experience to our efforts to support community dentists.

Together with Professionals Australia, we will negotiate on behalf of public dentists for fairer pay and conditions. This action will not only enable fairer conditions, but will also set the foundation for a better recognised dental profession, regardless of the sector you are employed in. Our alliance comes at no extra cost to ADAVB members.
