AHPRA's new online service for checking registration renewals
Members renewing their registration can now go online to confirm that their application has been received by AHPRA. This service is valuable because practitioners may continue to practise while their application is processed, even after the conclusion of the grace period which expires on 31 January.
The National Law provides for a one-month grace period so practitioners may lodge applications to renew their registration up until the end of this month.
The online service is accessible under the Registration tab on the AHPRA website or on individual National Board websites at http://www.ahpra.gov.au/
Once applications for renewal of registration are finalised, the practitioner details are updated on the National Registers.
For registration enquiries ring: 1300 419 495 (within Australia) +61 7 3666 4911 (overseas callers)
