Federal ADA Budget Submission

The Australian Dental Association’s Federal pre-Budget Submission outlines measures that, if adopted, will go a long way to improving Australians’ oral health.

Presented to the Treasury Department today, the ADA submission says that a preventive approach to oral health can substantially lower the level of dental disease, reducing future demand and cost to the public dental system.

To lower the level of dental disease affecting the community, ADA urges the Commonwealth Government to support:
1. People with special needs;
2. Rebates for dental services;
3. Preventive measures;
4. The dental workforce; and
5. Quality and safety.
