Healthy smiles for children program launched

The State Government’s Healthy Families, Healthy Smiles program has been launched at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. The $2 million program aims to improve the oral health of children aged 0-3 years and pregnant women.

The Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development, Ms Wendy Lovell, (pictured) said the program would boost the skills of health professionals, such as midwives, as well as early childhood workers to be better able to promote oral health, including healthy eating and drinking.
