Dental health discussed at public meeting

The Australian Dental Association Inc. has outlined its views on dental health policy at the Better Dental Care public consultation, held in Sydney’s Balmain Town Hall.
Hosted by the Minister for Health, Ms Tanya Plibersek, a panel outlined perspectives on building better dental care, and commented on recent Government policies and proposals.

ADA was represented by its Immediate Past President, Dr Shane Fryer (right), who advocated the Association’s DentalAccess proposal which has two strands – preventive approaches (including oral health promotion) and dental care for the disadvantaged.
