ADAVB's Facebook page launched

ADAVB’s Facebook page was launched today. The Branch’s move into social media aims to provide oral health information and education in a quick and easy format for people who use these information sharing platforms to learn and stay in contact with friends and family. The focus is on oral health promotion rather than member services.

The first topic is ‘Caring for children's teeth' – information which will be of considerable use to many Facebook users. Our page provides hints and tips to help care for children’s teeth.

Similar oral health community information bulletins will be posted regularly on Facebook.

The Branch thanks members of the Oral Health Education Committee for enthusiastically embracing the concept and providing the information in an easy-to-understand manner. ADAVB also thanks communications advisors Porter Novelli for the backroom work in making our Facebook page happen.
