New honour for Prof Eric Reynolds AO

Melbourne Dental School head Professor Eric Reynolds AO has been appointed Melbourne Laureate Professor.

This honour, rarely bestowed, is reserved for the most distinguished members of academic staff at The University of Melbourne. It indicates the extraordinarily high standing that Prof Reynolds enjoys within the university, and nationally and internationally.

The appointment was made by The University of Melbourne Council on the recommendation of the Honours Committee, and becomes the latest in a long list of his honours and awards.
