Medicare to release new compliance program

Medicare will soon release a new compliance program. Called the Health and Aged Care Compliance Program, it replaces the National Compliance Program and will include claims made under the Chronic Disease Dental Scheme. Medicare says the new program “will continue building on effective education, stakeholder engagement, risk detection and analysis initiatives to combat non-compliance and potentially fraudulent behaviours”.
