ISO highlights ADAVB's social responsibility efforts

A story on the steps taken by ADAVB to implement the ISO 26000 social responsibility standard is featured in the just published ISO online newsletter. The article will also appear in next month's issue of ISO Focus magazine.
Written by Branch CEO Mr Garry Pearson, the article tells of the path taken by the Branch in implementing the Standard. The first step was the adoption of the Dentists for Cleaner Water program which involves the installation of ISO 11143 compliant amalgam separators.
The numerous social responsibility and environmental sustainability initiatives undertaken by the Branch funneled into the adoption of ISO26000. The article contains a tabled developed by the Branch listing the core subjects and social responsibility issues of the standard and maps them against ADAVB’s stance on each.
