New VicHealth CEO appointed

Health Minister David Davis today announced the appointment of Ms Jerril Rechter as Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation - VicHealth. Currently Executive Director of Leadership Victoria, Ms Rechter will take up the role in October. Last June Mr Davis appointed Prof Mike Morgan, Deputy Head of the Melbourne Dental School, to VicHealth’s board – an appointment that pleased the dental profession because it brings opportunities to greater integrate oral health promotion in general health campaigns.
