Dental graduate program details announced


The new Voluntary Dental Graduate Year program starts this year with 46 dental graduates being placed in public dental facilities across the nation. The graduates will provide services to patients and gain experience.
Under the program, 31 dental services – in metropolitan, regional and remote areas - will host the graduates this year, increasing to 36 next year.
By 2016, some 100 dental graduates will be in the field..
Similarly, from next year the Oral Health Therapist Graduate Year program will support 50 voluntary oral health therapists throughout the nation.
