ADAVB welcomes the new Health Minister

The ADAVB welcomes the newly elected Labor Government and new Health Minister Jill Hennessy MLA.

As part of their election platform, the Vic ALP committed to improving the oral health of Victorians, and recognised that a person’s oral health is an important factor in their general health.

The Vic ALP have pledged to promote access to public dental services, advocate to the Commonwealth for improved public dental funding, and expand Victoria’s water fluoridation program to areas that are yet to benefit.

ADAVB looks forward to engaging with our new State Government and Minister Hennessy on important dental issues. We will seek a meeting with Minister Hennessy early in 2015.
