Health Sector Leadership Program underway
Initiated by ADAVB and proudly supported by Guild Insurance Ltd, the Health Sector Leadership Program for 2013 has been designed to support the development of future leaders of participating health professions.
Leadership Victoria is facilitating the program, with 24 participants drawn for the ADAVB, Dietitians Association Australia Victoria Branch, Australian Physiotherapy Association, Pharmaceutical Society Australia, Speech Pathology Australia, and Optometrists Association Australia Victoria Division.
The program focuses on the key attributes of leadership – ethics, communications, influencing and resilience. In addition to four half-day workshop programs, a mentor and a buddy are assigned to each participant, and regular contact will be expected with these people between and after the workshops.
This year the participating ADAVB members are Drs Nadia Dobromilsky, Jonathan Teo, Aditi Bhide and Alison Sahhar.
